The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Scarecrow Hunt on November 29th to encourage shopping on Small Business Saturday. Twelve participating Chamber member businesses will hide small scarecrows, and customers who find them are encouraged to take a selfie and post it to social media for a chance to win a $50 gift card. Shoppers can earn multiple entries, with the greatest incentive for those who find all 12 scarecrows and make a purchase at each location. Small Business Saturday is a national initiative promoting patronage of small, independently owned retailers and service providers.
