Cassandra Veale and Jacob McMillian have been elected to fill two open seats on the St. Joseph School District Board following Tuesday’s municipal election. Veale led the seven-candidate field with nearly 23 percent of the vote, while McMillian secured the second spot with approximately 19 percent. The two newcomers are scheduled to be officially sworn into their roles during the board’s upcoming meeting on April 13.
