Maryville Chamber to Host Forum Ahead of April Election

Get informed before the April election! Join the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce for the Candidate & Issues Forum on March 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Acres.

MARYVILLE, MO - The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate and issues forum on Tuesday, March 24, ahead of the upcoming April election.

The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Rose Hill Acres Event Center, 105 S. Main. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., and the public is encouraged to attend the forum, which is sponsored by Evergy.

Candidates for the Maryville City Council and the Maryville Board of Education have accepted invitations to participate. A representative for the Maryville R-II District Proposition Spoofhound ballot issue will also be present.

The forum will feature brief introductions from the candidates and ballot issue representatives, followed by a question-and-answer session conducted by a media panel.

"This Forum connects candidates to the community they'll represent and provides an opportunity for them to share views on key issues," said Becky Albrecht, executive director of the Chamber. "It also provides background knowledge and details on other ballot items to help voters make an informed decision at the polls"
