The Maryville Department of Public Safety (MPS) has issued an announcement detailing warming centers as an Extreme Cold Warning takes effect during the evening of Friday, January 22nd.
MARYVILLE, MO - With Nodaway County in an Extreme Cold Warning until midday on Friday, the Maryville Department of Public Safety (MPS) issued an announcement detailing warming centers in the Maryville area. Per the announcement, the following locations will be serving as warming centers during normal business hours. Anyone using these facilities is asked to be respectful of the space and the regular business operations.
Maryville Community Center

Friday 5 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Maryville Senior Center**
1210 East 1 st Street
Friday 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
**If Maryville schools close, the Senior Center will close as well
Nodaway County Health Dept.
