MARYVILLE, MO – The Nodaway Chorale will launch its Spring rehearsal season on Monday, January 19, at 7:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, Third and Buchanan Streets, Maryville, MO. Rehearsals, in preparation for a 20th Anniversary concert in April, will continue each Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the same location.

The Nodaway Chorale is a non-profit, non-audition, secular mixed voice chorus with over 60 singers from various communities in the region.

Music Director Jim Rash notes, “The Chorale members are enthusiastic about resuming rehearsals following our record-breaking successful holiday concert in December along with several performances in the community during the holiday season.” Rash continues, “As the area’s premier community chorus, we are looking forward to preparing an exciting program for our 20 th Anniversary Concert in April. The theme of the spring concert is “From Our Hearts to Yours: A 20 Year Celebration.” The concert will feature choral music that both our singers and audiences have loved the most over our 20-year history. Continuing the pattern of recent years, we will present a diverse array of musical styles including classical, spirituals, Broadway and movies, and popular. We will also be highlighting several smaller ensembles of Chorale singers.”

The chorus invites anybody who loves to sing to join. Nodaway Chorale members are educators, office workers, healthcare workers, writers, businesspersons, high school and university students, and retirees, all of whom love singing with friends.
