The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors have named The Maryville Forum as the April Business of the Month, honoring the weekly publication for its community involvement, local sports coverage, and consistent support of area non-profits.
MARYVILLE, MO - The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors April Business of the Month is The Maryville Forum. Located 111 East Jenkins in Maryville, The Forum is owned by Cobb Publishing, Phil and Chaundee Cobb. It is a weekly publication and reliable source of local news for the Maryville region.
According to its nomination, The Forum, “provides strong coverage of the stories that matter most, with especially excellent sports reporting that highlights our local student-athletes and teams. They’re also always willing to support non-profits and community events, helping spread the word and make a difference. In a time when local journalism is more important than ever, The Forum and The Post continue to show up for our community—and we’re better for it.”
The Business of the Month award exists to recognize and honor businesses demonstrating community involvement, outstanding customer service, and professional relationships. To be eligible, businesses must be in good standing with the Chamber and meet at least one of the following selection criteria:

Have demonstrated outstanding support to the community or to the Chamber.

Provide superior customer service and/or products.

Considered a successful and professional business by peers.

All verified nominations will remain for consideration for three months from the date of submission. When nominating a business, please keep the following in mind: customer service, ease of accessibility, convenient hours, social responsibility, civic engagement, long term commitment to local economic growth, and proactive hiring standards for community members. The deadline for nominations is the first Friday of each month.
