Akin Building Center has announced the winners of its $500 Shopping Spree Giveaway customer appreciation event, naming Roxanne Carroll of Creston and Amber Cabeen of Clarinda as the recipients of the prizes.
CORNING, CLARINDA, ATLANTIC, CRESTON, IA — Akin Building Center is pleased to announce the winners of its recent $500 Shopping Spree Giveaway, which included participation from all four of its southwest Iowa locations: Corning, Clarinda, Atlantic, and Creston.
The promotion served as a customer appreciation event, with entries accepted through May 31, 2026. Customers entered at any of the four store locations for a chance to win one of two $500 shopping sprees. To ensure fair representation across all communities, entries were combined into two regional drawings.
Winners of the giveaway are as follows:
- Roxanne Carroll of Creston, Iowa, winner of the Creston/Corning combined drawing
- Amber Cabeen of Clarinda, Iowa, winner of the Clarinda/Atlantic combined drawing
Each winner received a $500 shopping spree to use at Akin Building Center.
