Golfers and sponsors are invited to the Clarinda Country Club on Aug. 28 for the annual Partners in Exceptional Care tournament, raising funds to enhance patient privacy and lobby registration at Clarinda Regional Health Center.
CLARINDA, IA — Partners in Exceptional Care will host its annual golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 28, at the Clarinda Country Club, raising funds to renovate the front lobby registration area at Clarinda Regional Health Center.
The 18-hole, four-person best-ball tournament begins with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Organized to support local healthcare, all proceeds from the event will stay in the community to improve the hospital’s patient experience.
This year’s proceeds are designated for updates to the hospital’s registration area, a project prioritized using feedback from the facility's Patient Family Advisory Council. The project aims to enhance patient privacy during the check-in process when individuals discuss confidential medical conditions, insurance details, and personal health information.
Beyond privacy, the modernizations are designed to improve patient flow and create a more welcoming environment in one of the hospital's highest-traffic areas. Because nearly every patient enters through the main entrance, officials expect the project to benefit thousands of area residents annually.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate. On-course features include local business-sponsored hospitality tents with snacks and giveaways, interactive games, and hole contests. Following golf, the event will feature a silent auction with online bidding, raffle drawings for items including a golf cart and UTV, a 50/50 drawing, and team prizes across two flights. Non-golfers are also encouraged to participate in the silent auction.
Registration fees are $300 per four-person team, which includes 18 holes of golf and lunch. Individual cart rentals are available for $70.
